Born in Q1-1921 [Newmarket 3b:825], the son of Charles William and Constance Gladys BROWN (née LEE).

In the 1939 register, at 56 Newton Terrace, Newmarket, on his own, was his widower father Charles [15-4-1858] a journeyman tailor and Air Raid Precautions warden. Where and when his mother died is not known.

Bernard married in Windsor in Q1-1942 to Barbara Yvonne Mary YOUNG,of Windsor.



Bernard was killed in the battle at the Horseshoe on the Mareth Line in Tunisia.
